Ethan Segat

Ethan Segat is the founder and driving force behind Hunter Shelter, serving as the primary link between partners, investors, and on-the-ground operations. He is responsible for setting Hunter Shelter’s long-term vision, guiding resources toward disciplined development goals, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. As the face of Hunter Shelter, Ethan blends local insight with a forward-looking perspective, positioning the company to deliver lasting value in high-barrier markets.

Ethan has been active in real estate development since high school, beginning with hands-on experience in residential construction. While in college, he interned with a bank, gaining early exposure to finance and underwriting, and later worked with CBRE’s property management division, overseeing Class C office space in a shifting market. Across these roles, he produced financial analysis and documentation that mitigated risk, informed strategic decisions, and provided firsthand insight into evolving market challenges.

Ethan holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Eastern Washington University and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from the University of Washington.
